Dasa2 Armenian

Learn letters, words and writing

Our first app takes what our tutors do in a lesson and puts it in a child's hands. Dasa2 Armenian teaches the Armenian alphabet through games, animation, handwriting and sound, one letter at a time.

Every letter has its own short animated film and its own Armenian rhyme. Children trace the letter, hear it, play a memory game with it and build words from it. A letter only unlocks once the one before it is finished, so there is always a clear next step and a reason to come back.

It is built for the children we teach every day: those growing up outside Armenia, who hear Armenian at home but meet it in writing for the first time on a screen.

What is inside

Watch

A short animated video for every letter, so a child meets it as a character and a story before ever writing it.

Write

Guided letter-writing practice that traces the shape stroke by stroke, the way a teacher would draw it on a board.

Listen

An audio section of Armenian rhymes, and listening exercises that pair each spoken word with the letters that spell it.

Memorise

Memory games that turn repetition into play, which is how letters stop being shapes and start being familiar.

Build words

Word-building and word-guessing activities that take a child from single letters to whole Armenian words.

One letter at a time

A step-by-step path through the alphabet. Finish a letter to unlock the next, so progress is always visible.
